27/June/18 - Another successful Botany BC is now complete. Botany BC on Haida Gwaii was enjoyed by 50+ interested and interesting amateur and professional botanists from around British Columbia and neighbouring provinces and states. Many thanks to the organizers, the participants and the locals. Without everyone working together these events just wouldn't happen!
As promised Jim Pojar's presentation 'Terrestrial Plant Life of Haida Gwaii', which was originally presented on the evening of Saturday June 23rd, has been added to the drop down box in the upper left corner of the Botany BC home page for your viewing pleasure.
Next year's Botany BC will be taking place in the west Kootenays, Rossland / Nelson areas. Dates and details to be determined over the next several months and will be posted as soon as possible.
