Botany B.C. Meeting

The activities are based around three technical sessions (Tuesday
a.m., MARINE ALGAE; Thursday a.m. ETHNOBOTANY; Thursday p.m. OLD-GROWTH
FORESTS) and two field trips (Tuesday p.m., and all day Wednesday).
It is suggested that participants arrive Monday, April 24, and leave
either late afternoon Thursday, or stay for Friday and the optional
field trip to Carmanah Creek.
Monday, April 24

Wednesday, April 26

- 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. field trip to Broken Group Islands with
2 larger vessels, plus 2 or 3 herring skiffs (hold 20-30 each);
larger vessels will drop us off, and pick us up at end of day.
View gray whales, visit sites of botanical and archaeological
interest. Bag lunches.
